Dr. David Platt is a native of Connecticut.  His ministry includes serving as pastor of churches in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Indiana and Kentucky.  He is a graduate of University of Miami and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He and his wife, Pat, have four children and six grandchildren. David has been pastor of Deer Park since 2001. 

Dr. Ronald Turner is Professor of Church Music at Southern Baptist Seminary.  He has served churches as minister of music, organist-choirmaster and organist in South Carolina, Kentucky, and England. While in the US Navy he served as organist-choirmaster in the US Atlantic Fleet Chapel in Norfolk. He has composed and arranged numerous anthems, vocal solos, cantatas, and keyboard settings, and published articles in several national and international journals. He served as Minister of Music at Deer Park for more than twenty years. He has returned to Deer Park after providing ten years of service to First Lutheran Church of Louisville.

Dr. Sandra Turner is  Professor of Church Music at  Southern Seminary where she is Chair of Keyboard. She coordinates the pre-graduate studies in piano for the School of Church Music..  She has served in the Music program at Deer Park for more than twenty years. Her studies include: Charleston Southern University, Converse College, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary,  Royal College of Music (London). Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London),  She is a frequent performer at the piano both as soloist and accompanist.

Jeremy is currently a student at Baptist Seminary of Kentucky working towards his Masters in Divinity.  He is a Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Scholar as well as a Kentucky Baptist Fellowship Scholar.  He is a graduate of Georgetown College with a degree in religion and a minor in communications and media studies.
