Ministry of Property
Maintenance

The Trustees have the responsibility for care and custody of all church
property and grounds. They superintend all repairs and improvements and make
specific recommendations to the church. In addition to the church grounds,
this ministry is also responsible for decorating the church for special
seasons, occasions, and programs; and, they keep church banners stored
properly and in good repair. If you are handy with tools, like to paint,
have a green thumb, enjoy decorating or cleaning... we could use you.

Spotlight on Missions

The word "Missions" can mean many things: International, Home, Baptist
Education, World Wide, etc. Our Deer Park Ministries Committee is organizing
a Volunteer Corps of people willing to be called on for meeting needs of our
church family. If this is an area you feel called to assist, just call or
email the church office if you would be interested in serving in these areas.
We are currently addressing nine areas in which we feel we can help our
church members immediately:
1. Drive members to appointments
2. Pick up prescriptions
3. Pick up groceries
4. Occasionally take food to members
5. Drive to airport
6. Drive to XYZ meetings
7. Clean up home areas
8. Offer a ride to some church services
9. Cook food at church and take to a home in time of need.
